10 Things you Should Know about Me before Reading my Blog

So you’ve stumbled upon my blog – welcome! I’m happy to have you here and I hope you’ll find it enjoyable. Kick off your shoes, grab a drink and stay a while. Heck, you might even get something valuable while you are here.
However, before you proceed any further, get to know me and learn about what you might find here.
So here goes…
First, I live on a cattle ranch.
Due to this, you may be exposed to images of cute little calves, happy mama cows and grassy landscapes. At times, things may get a little ranchy. There is never a shortage of work to be done and it’s pretty much all DIY, so if you’re into that sort of thing, you might really like it here.
I am a career gal.
I believe women can do and be whatever the hell they want. And I want to help every woman I meet achieve her dreams. So you might be served up some professional career advice, marketing and business education, and perhaps even work-life balance tips. My passion as a marketer may lead to oversharing my enthusiasm for brands and companies that are nailing it in the marketing world.
I have a lot of dogs.
You will see them featured frequently, especially if you decide to follow me on the gram. They are lazy, sometimes muddy and stinky, but of course they are always loving.
I think nature is neat.
And I want to keep it that way. You may find inspiration here for changes you can make to also help keep nature neat.
I always have a project going.
These projects are always DIY and typically home related. You may start to think that I am crazy or wonder where I find the time and energy, but you may also find yourself deeply engaged in these projects to the point that you’re taking your significant other to the local hardware store and staying home on a Saturday night with pizza and beer to also renovate some portion of your home that you’re feeling inspired to work on.
I care about my health.
Listen, I’m not going to be posting gym selfies and launching fitness challenges, but because Pumba is my spirit animal, I might talk about how I try to approach a healthy lifestyle while balancing work, home, social and ranch life. Proceed with caution unless you like the idea of feeling good in a simple, realistic way.
I am multi-passionate.
If you are looking for a one-stop-shop, extremely niched platform with all the subject matter expertise for ONE thing, this is not it. I have a lot of passions and I want to share them all. Diversity is good. Maybe you will like only one part. Maybe you will like the variety. Either way, you will have options.
I love anything western.
See number 1. I live on a ranch. You will find western clothing, jewelry, decor and so on here on this blog. Western life is the best life. If you love turquoise, fringe and sequins, then we should probably be friends.
I like old sh*t.
Junk, antiques, roadside dumped finds. You name it. I have probably loaded it up in my truck and have either used it, refurbished it, or it’s sitting in the shop with my hopes and dreams for its future.
I love Jesus.
Thank goodness, too, since you see I can sometimes have a potty mouth and rely on his grace and forgiveness daily.
There. Before I go on and sound any more like a Miranda Lambert song (I love her also), I shall end here. You have now been adequately warned and informed. If you are still willing to proceed, or heck even excited about what you might find, subscribe below and follow me on the gram so we can be friends.
Happy trails,
Diana
